#1 · Jul 28, 2020 Hi guys, new member here. My 2013 Hybrid SEL is completely dead. No bells, lights, dingers, nothing. My computerized Optima charger can't see the battery, so that matches. But even with the charger connected, nothing. The car is push button start, powered liftgate, nav, everything but the sunroof. Called the dealer.
$130 for the Tested Tough Max battery is good but $107 for installation seems high as it can't be any more than 1/2 hr job including resetting battery age. Again as I've said many times, if you have a windows laptop / tablet, you can download the "free" trial 2.3.21 beta, 2019-03-30 version of ForScan and reset the battery age.

Troubleshooting a no power issue. Might be a bad battery but I think the CPU is just powered down. Might need Ford to diagnose.
