Last I paid attention, if they weren't landing at my base where I had my ship on one of its two landing pads, I could get them to land by moving by calling my ship to the other landing pad. Dont need to glitch them anymore. Just put down a floor piece, a low wall piece upwards. Keep camera straight and drop the landingpad on top. The cover it with flooring from the top of the low wall.
