Hello Guild Wars 2 community, I think its time to announce my current project that collects large amounts of raid/fractal/strike boss arcdps logs and compiles detailed analyses and statistics out of the raw data: Gw2 Wingman! You can find a quick introduction and the explanation of the features i
Warrior-> Pretty tanky, pretty straightforward, big numbers especially on GreatSword skill 2 and Axe skill 5, has trait for movement speed, Stay away from Elementalist and Engineer -> if a class has 15 skills to use, Engi and Ele usualy have 30+ Heart of Thorns:(Note: you need level 80 with the core class to be able to play what is below)The Stats. Elementalist 38% win ratio, 6.2% of players on ele. 2nd Least common profession. Least successful profession. Core - 1% played, 28.6% win rate, mean score/game is 410 and 3% chance is in the winning team. Tempest - 1.2% played, 37.5% win rate, mean score/game is 314 and 4.5% chance its in the winning team.
This is just the amount of characters of each class that have been created though. It would be more interesting to use playtime instead. take this graph with caution because for exemple me (and probably a lot of other player) have all the classes to 80. This and the reddit survey, at least shows that engi is unpopular.
The Dervish lore was composed of 3 elements: Mystic powers tied to the human gods. This has gone away, the closest being the revenant ties to legends from the Mists. Elemental powers, mainly earth, and wind. Other professions that have skills with the wind and earth elements are a bit ranger, and of course a lot elementalist.
